....I could be writing this from a jail cell...but I was let off easy....Fed and I almost became. fugitives. of the law...
...it would have been easy to just laugh it off...pretend the officer was just being friendly...but I knew as he was looking at the front of my truck AND talking into his radio...that I had a problem.
...looking behind me I see Fed doing what he loves to do on a beautiful day in a big field...he was pooping...and this park officer was walking towards me...(why do they always insist on calling me ma'am?)
...didn't I see the signs..."KEEP DOGS ON LEASH" and "NO PARKING HERE"?
...apparently not..."there's a big dog training area over there that's twice as big" and "it's a five hundred dollar fine"...damn...I didn't know that rampant unleashed dogs were so prevailant...amazing how no one cares if they run in my neighborhood...besides...I hate taking him where everyone else is...can you believe there are some who don't LIKE dogs? But he was a nice guy and wasn't going to give me a ticket...he likes it when "people cooperate"...that's me...very cooperative...so poor Fed had his run cut short...and we came home..
.....so close to a life of crime...


...so what's with the guys who have a car that used to be a cop car? You can tell it used to be a cop car because they leave the search light that always blinds you if you happen to pass a cop car that's stopped someone at night...the cops have a certain type of license plate...plus the fact you see all those antennas all over it...does having this car with the big ass light still attached help get you a woman...or do you like to shine it on people? Also...what's with the shirts that say FBI or EMT or POLICE...when the person wearing it obviously isn't any of these? What if I need help...and I go up to some guy wearing one of these...how would he feel if he had to tell me it was just a fake(I know how I'd feel....shit out of luck)...isn't that impersonating an officer? Isn't that ILLEGAL?? Don't get me wrong...I like cops...most of them around here are good guys...I know because I've needed them several times and they were usually right there...but how can you pretend...and get away with it?
