OMG!!! Giant mutant killer bats are taking over!!!

...so there's this movie on TNT today..."Bats"...apparently they are hostile and huge and kill people...besides the fact that this movie sucks, there are people who watch this crap and believe what they see...(needless to say these people are ignorant)...bats are actually cool creatures...I get them in my house from time to time...the first time I caught one with a blanket so I could get a better look at it...they do look a bit like a rat with wings...but they are one of the neatest animals I've ever seen. They can get rabies (a rare occurence anymore), they don't carry it...(do ya think that maybe...if everyone kept their pets' shots up to date maybe rabies would be obliterated...but you can't make a Gomer do something he or she should)...they don't try to attack people....it just seems like it when they are flying and seem to dive towards you as they get closer...they use echolocation...(just doin' what they do)...they also eat bugs...lots of 'em (at least the ones around here do)...which is why it's a good thing to buy a bat house and put it up so the bats have a place to roost...just make sure you put it in the right location...by the way, I don't know if it's still in effect, but bats were an endangered species around here at one time (do you know, Nik?)...which means it's illegal to hurt and/or kill one....

...so, if you should happen to get one in your house, very carefully catch it with a light blanket....the noise it will make will make you think you're killing it...just handle very delicately...and you can get a good look at it. Just be careful and don't get bit...they have very sharp teeth...
