...the news lately is pretty depressing. Bad enough about soldiers in Iraq that seem to be killed everyday, but the problem in New Orleans is starting to sound like some movies I've seen.

...everyone should go to Jack's blog...starting Tuesday he had some interesting things to say. I agree with him. Now he's on his way down there to try and help. I hope he's careful and stays safe.

...Norm is off to try and help with the health problems that are popping up...let's all keep our fingers crossed for both of them...no, for EVERYONE who's trying to help.

...now don't get me wrong, I don't like all the human misery and suffering...but I always do this when stuff like this happens; I worry about all the animals in the city. If a person will hurt another just for the pleasure of it, imagine what the'd do to an animal.

...I hate this shit.
