...so another dreary Sunday...all you can read about is bad news. Don't tell me I need to look at a different perspective on all of this. This IS our fault, you know. Now they say our climate may be beyond repair. We've fucked it up, and the really sad, disgusting part is we KNEW about it and we STILL fucked it up. Anyone who doesn't believe it's happening is in denial, and frankly, part of the problem. Why take so long in fixing things? You'll put that new what-ya-ma-call-it on the cars in the year 2015 so everyone will be cleaner running. Do you really think we're that stupid? Do it NOW. We have the technology. Everyone has an opinion on Saddam Hussein...maybe we should have just left him where he was to fuck up his people more and more. But you know, if some guy was killing someone in this neighborhood, you can be pretty sure that person would be stopped and punished. Some may think that it's his business what he does in his own country, his own backyard. I believe the same about my house, but I also have morals, and I don't hurt people. It's called murder. So now he disrupts the courtroom, causing a lot of problems. Oh, and there's also the trouble with his own lawyers being killed. Or am I mistaken on that part? Just muzzle the asshole. Fuck his rights. I'm tired of all the damn lawyers who think it's more important to make a name and a buck for themselves and worry so much about a criminal's rights. Sure, innocent until proven guilty...but you guys seem to let the bad guys off more often than helping the ones who were wronged.* It's our fault kids get hurt...put in family homes where abuse runs rampant, or left at the home where the same occurs. Wouldn't want to jump to conclusions. Someone might sue. And OH MY GOD just let THAT happen. Again, idiot lawyers who will do ANYTHING to make a dollar. Why don't you guys just forget that and go stand out on the street corner and sell yourself that way?** Our health care system is more for the rich*** (gasp!) and we've made it so difficult for people who really need their meds to actually afford them that they'll be dead before they ever get any more. We've wiped out many species in nature, and say it's ok because, well, what are they good for? Isn't it enough that they just live? Politicians can't get along, but we're counting on them to do what's necessary for us. They act like kids fighting over a toy. Seems to me that if we voted for them, we should be able to fire 'em. Give them a yearly review...write 'em up and if they don't improve, out they go. I think we're paying them too much, too. People living in poverty and squalor, trying to make ends meet, but we wouldn't want the car companies to lose any more money, so thousands are going to be laid off. However, you can rest assured the ceo and his buddies won't take a cut in pay. Let's not forget about the athletes who I always thought played because they loved to play, yet besides making millions, some do the drugs and get into all kinds of trouble and get away with it. The actors and singers who always wanted to be famous, to be good at what they do because they love doing it, yet get paid a shitload of money anyway. Although there are a lot of good ones out there... ...Denzel Washington donated some of his own money towards a facility that houses wounded soldiers in San Antonio, Texas. ...Oprah gives away many things to some not so fortunate people on her show...because she has the money. (I don't know why he has a jet, though) ...all the stars who went and helped during the hurricanes down south; the two who called a dying girl earlier this year when they read in People magazine how much she liked them. She died soon after. ...and I always remember the story about how Susan Sarandon was in a clothing store somewhere and, after seeing a customer throw a sweater or shirt back on a table after she unfolded it, she goes up to the customer and tells her how hard the clerk was working and she didn't need to leave more work for her...that she just folded it, and maybe she, the customer, should refold it. Where was she when I worked retail? So why don't we stop screwing with things and start working towards better things? Because of greed...selfishness...bigotry...and plain old badness. Thank God I don't have kids...what a world I'd be leaving them. * I'm not saying ALL lawyers; I love you, Lewis... **Again...I'm not saying...ALL... ***And not all rich people...but, unfortunately...a lot of you. ...can you believe Rush Limbaugh wrote this? I don't care for him but I agree with this, and it pisses me off.... Differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound. No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million. If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable. Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt. Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers. We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well. You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense? However, our own U .S. Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month. I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting. ![]() Is she still alive? ![]() Note to all terrorists: Go fuck yourselves. Not very original, but it gets the point across. You make your own people, your own religion look bad. You're turning your country into a shit hole. You're brainwashing women and children to do your dirty, cowardly work. You kidnap people, innocent ones who are only trying to do a job and go home, and you shoot them or cut their heads off in front of everyone, and for what? To make a point? What's the point? That you're a badass? No one cares. They're worried about that victim of yours, not you. No one cares about you. They just care about what you can do to hurt them. This girl is just some reporter who is trying to report what she sees. Her family loves her and wants her back. Just like all the other people that you've murdred in this fashion. I can't even begin to fathom how scared she must be...IF she's still alive. So here's an idea. Let's say...they all leave. Every military personnel that isn't a native to your filthy sandbox gets to go home. You've won. Woo hoo! Now what? What about all the people there? Maybe they're tired of the same bullshit. Maybe they'll start fighting back more. Maybe they'll start taking down any lowlife that threatens their new freedoms. Sure, it would be nice if they felt that way NOW. I can't blieve that NO ONE knows who or where any of these guys are. Why don't ya'll just kill each other off? Be men for once and do the right thing. And if that offends anybody, well, guess what? I don't care. I also believe in a woman's right to choose, the morning after pill (if you refuse to distribute it, you should be fired), child molestors put to death, freedom of religion and right to bear arms (but for our sakes, learn to use the fucking thing first), gay rights, global warming, and that people like Pat Robertson should be taken off the air. Cancelled. Friday, January 20, 2006 A Rant (from Lewis' blogs...he's right, again....) How NOT to Run a Business or The Customer is Always Right I was livid when I read this news article in the online version of the Roanoke (Virginia) Times newspaper. In summary, the article reported that Christine Clayborne, a six-year employee and one-time manager of the Domino's Pizza franchise in Salem, Virginia, owned and operated by Tom Wallace, was robbed Sunday evening while making a pizza delivery in an unfamiliar neighborhood. The next day, she was called by her boss and told that she had been fired for violating company policy that prohibits its delivery employees from carrying more than $20.00 cash from the store while making deliveries. The reason the company policy exists, according to another Domino's franchise owner, is for "insurance purposes." The real kicker is that, when an employee is robbed while carrying more than the requisite amount of money on his or her person, he or she is expected to personally reimburse the store for the stolen money! According to the article, Clayborne is a community college student with three children to support, and now has no job with which to earn the funds which, according the the article, her boss informed her, "[She is] still going to pay...back [to the store]" after he fired her. According to Clayborne, she was led to believe that it would be deducted from her paycheck, and in fact, she questioned whether she would ever even receive a final paycheck. This, Domino's Pizza, is ridiculous, and not only that, potentially constitutes a violation of Virginia's labor laws unless there is a written authorization signed by the employee allowing for deduction of any funds outside of those necessary for income tax and other traditional withholding from his or her paycheck. I certainly hope that Ms. Clayborne files the necessary complaint with the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry if you have violated this law (and Ms. Clayborne, in case you are reading this, you may click here to obtain the necessary complaint form and find instructions on how to file a labor complaint. You may also click here for contact information for the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry field office for your region of the state.). This causes one to wonder what a delivery driver is to do when someone orders one pizza and attempts to pay with a $100.00 bill. How tolerant will you be, Domino's, when your delivery employee has to return to your store multiple times to pick up the maximum $20.00 permitted to be carried from your doors and make several trips back to the delivery address just to make change for that one delivery? The fact, Domino's Pizza, is that hiding behind "insurance company requirements" for ill-advised treatment of your employees is nothing but a coward's response. You should, perhaps, discuss this policy with your insurer, and find another insurer if this is their continued demand. Your insurer hinders your business. It has already cost you at least one customer. What is clear in the article, also, Domino's, is that Ms. Clayborne was robbed of more than $20.00 after making a prior delivery on the same delivery run. It would seem safe to presume that part of the proceeds of Ms. Clayborne's assailant's efforts included whatever sum she had collected from that delivery. Is your insurer aware that you require your employees to make multiple deliveries in the same outing from your store? One other question makes the requirement of your employee's repayment of the pilfered funds a questionable practice is that, presumably, your insurer will be paying for the loss occasioned by Ms. Clayborne's falling victim to robbery. Requiring that your employee compensate you for the loss would seem to indicate that your company will receive a double recovery, once from the insurer, and again from your employee. It seems to me that this policy allows you to line your own pockets as the result of your employee's victimization. It seems unconscionable that Ms. Clayborne, having once suffered the distress of being robbed by a criminal, would then be "robbed" again by you. Nevertheless, my questions aside, I feel that your treatment of a robbery victim who was in your employ for six years prior to the crime was completely unfair and absolutely ludicrous. If this offends you, my dear reader, I offer the following suggestions: Contact the Domino's Pizza franchise at which Ms. Clayborne formerly worked to lodge your complaint. The franchise owner's name, store's snail-mail address, and telephone number are: Tom Wallace 501 West Fourth Street Salem, Virginia, 24153 540/387-3030. I do not have an e-mail address as of yet, but have sent e-mail to the news article's author asking for that information, if available. Boycott Domino's Pizza everywhere. Perhaps pressure lodged against all Domino's Pizza stores worldwide will cause a company-wide change of policy. Contact the National Domino's Pizza company to complain. Mention your intention to boycott them, and specifically include the reason as being the treatment of Ms. Clayborne, and include a link to the news article cited above for their easy reference. The news article link is: The National Domino's Pizza snail-mail contact info is: Domino's Pizza LLC Attn: Customer Care Center 30 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive P.O. Box 997 Ann Arbor, MI 48106 Phone: (734) 930-3030 Finally, to my fellow bloggers, I hope that you will address this in your own blogs (and you have my specific permission to copy and reprint all or any portion of this post in doing so, or to provide a link back to this post in your own blog). ![]() These guys make us tree huggers look bad... ![]() ...I used to be in this group...well, not physically in the boat, but I sent my money in. Unfortunately, they are a bit of a radical group. Expecting people to get in between whaling ships and the whales... ...I don't like whaling. No way to do it quickly and painlessly. From what I've heard, they don't use the whole whale, either. Now it seems too much like fur farming. Unless you use the whole animal, it just ain't right. Beware of these idiots. They only bring negative attention to their cause, and no one wants to work with you then. Like PETA. Scary. ...an example of "good intentions.." we have what is called an animal shelter here. Good intentions, and I guess they do the job, yet sometime thy get too intense. Some people are refused an animal because of yard size and such, yet since it's a no kill shelter, they prefer the creature sits in a cage all the time. ...one day they had a kitten that was DYING (key word here) from something that, if caught in time might have been curable (I'm sorry, don't remember what it was exactly), but for this poor thing, it was too late. It was suffering as it died, yet these so-called board members of the animal shelter wanted to make sure which was better, to put it down, or try and cure it. No one would take the responsibility...then they'd be known as no kill-kill shelter, I guess. Certainly not humane. So this kitten died slowly and painfully while these morons argued over who would put it to sleep. ...so you see, I join Ducks Unlimited every year and the National Wildlife Federation when I can. And, of course theres the strays I tend to take in... ...hey, I'm a sucker... Saturday, January 14, 2006
![]() ...so was this.. ![]() There was also one called Freaky Links, and Supernatural is a good one that is STILL on...for now... ...they're always cancelling the good shows. Won't cancel the Apprentice...God forbid...and the Sci Fi channel is always showiung the worst of the monster movies...but I still love that channel... ...WOW...Blade is finally back. Apparently he's been busy. That happens when you have a job and family. ...I missed him, tho. Even tho he doesn't really comment as much as I'd like and even tho he doesn't say much when he does (but considering the fact that this blog isn't as interesting as his, or most others for that matter, I'm lucky any of you people show up). ...I'm still glad he's back. WELCOME BACK BLADE.. NOW GET TA POSTING. (Kim out!!) Thursday, January 12, 2006
...well, another full moon...and you can tell. Just stand at a four-way stop and you'll see. Go to the store, and you'll see. ...however, those who act as though it's always a full moon...the assholes and the bitches, the ones, both male and female, that think they're better than anyone here... ...get over yourselves. You're life may be perfect, how nice for you, but with a little twist of fate, you could have ended up like the rest of us. Not so lucky; some of our parents don't like us. Hell, some hate us. ...not as beautiful as you, but then again, how much plastic surgery are you gonna need to stay that way? ...so many friends you may have, but how many can you count on when the shit comes down and you aren't so lucky anymore? At least I know people love me for me. ...marrying the perfect man or woman, yet in how many years will your significant other be screwing around on you while you drink or do drugs to forget how miserable you really are? ...yeah, I'm bitching about it again, people being mean or rude to other people. I try to overlook it, pretend I don't see it, but sometimes I can't help it. I don't read the paper unless I see one lying around at work. Maybe I'm in denial, but the press lives off of sadness and evil. One day I couldn't believe all the bad news there was. Sometimes I just don't want to hear it anymore. ...I'm not trying to come across as being sinless...Lewis made that point to me one day, and I know I have a few issues. Okay, maybe more than a few. But this is one reason I love the movies...to go someplace else, to pretend. Because sometimes the real world is just too much. ...Lewis, I hope you'll still be my friend, but I still think we should go after soemone that is obviously doing wrong. The meth labs all over this town...everyone says they know about them. Get your bats and go get 'em. Some guy caught with a little girl and has obviously done something to her, another case in point. (last year two guys kidknapped a little girl on her way to the bus stop..took her behind a factory and some woods and repeatedly raped her. She got away when they both passed out. She took the cops back to where they still slept). ...I guess sometimes it gets to me. I don't understand how it can be allowed to go on. Our justice system can do good, but when it comes to this stuff, it sucks. How can a lawyer defend someone like that? A monster shouldn't be allowed rights if they know for a fact it did it...ONLY if they don't know. I know from experience that the victim is worse off than the criminal. ...sorry...just getting stuff out again...I think it's time for some more Monty Python. ...Seamus is so cute, don't ya think? Go check out his pics...his dog, Taylor is gorgeous. It's nice to know there're other dogs that eat more than Sin does... If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you! Monday, January 09, 2006
...last night I thought about how my lovebird, Baldzilla, was quiet all day. I get up this morning and remembered...sure enough, he was dead. I have no idea what happened, but it put a bummer on my Monday. ...so in honor of the little guy.... 'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This lovebird is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-LOVEBIRD!! Saturday, January 07, 2006
...Lewis has a really good post about his day of hunting. You should read it. He has a great philosophy on it. ...I agree with what he has to say. ...first let me say that the laws regulating guns in Illinois make no sense to me. I have to learn to drive a car before I'm given a license (after proving I can drive), yet I can just go out and buy a gun and use it. Sure, you have a right to bare arms, but you should be REQUIRED...it should be a LAW...that you HAVE TO LEARN to use it. I'm pretty sure that the cops aren't just given a gun and told to use it when they have to without training...so how come I can? ...as much as I love animals, you'd think I'd abhor (yes, I had to look that up...ONLY to spell it right) hunting. I think it's necessary, but only in the sense of putting food on the table and clothes or shoes on your body. Yes, I love my steak (filet mignon is my favorite) and my mocassins or those new boots they allowed me at work. Unfortunately, the way these animals are raised isn't a good thing. Some live in cramped pens all their lives, only to be slaughtered and prepared for market. I remember watching my uncle in Mississippi kill a chicken for dinner...the way it ran around after he cut it's head off...but at least it roamed free eating and being a chicken until then. ...I don't see the sense in putting a head on the wall. I wasn't there, but I never saw in pictures nor read in the history books that the Native Americans put heads of buffalo and antelope on their walls. What I did read is that they used everything on the animal that they killed. They also didn't spread new diseases like bird flu or mad cow. We and our technology, along with the rediculous ways we don't clean and stay clean, caused these diseases to run rampant. Who knows, maybe they were even developed in some lab because some fool could. ...as for the hunters...there are the respectful ones. These are the ones that kill only what they need to eat. If they wound an animal they will make sure they kill it because it's just bad to let it run away and become disabled and die a slow death. Like Lewis said, they respect nature, and are thankful for what it gives them. ...then there are the idiots. The Gomers. Also known as Dumbasses, Dipshits, and the list goes on. These are the ones that give rednecks and white trash (like some in my family) a bad name. They give hunters a bad name. They are the poachers, the slaughterers, the headlighters and the thieves, the fools that will shoot at anything that moves (someone I know was shot at while on their white horse; when he yelled that he was on said animal, the nut took off). These are the ones who have been known to kill another human being because they were caught poaching. ...I once watched a program that showed how conservation officers (cops in the woods) are trained. It was very frightening. These people are usually alone...in the woods...with no back up like a city cop has. One guy they were training was set up to show how he would handle the three men he found in their camp that had just been caught with carcasses of animals they had killed illegally. Just as he started to take a step towards these guys, the man who was training him told him he was dead. He said that he never saw the guy who came up behind him with a gun. One good reason why I changed my mind about becoming an officer. ...one of the most horrendous things I ever saw was a film that someone had taken while undercover as a hunter. He and a few other men, obviously with money to burn, paid someone to release a black panther for them to "hunt." I believe it was in Texas, and here were these assholes with their guns waiting for the door to come open on this beautiful animal's cage. At first it didn't want to come out. I can imagine that it probably knew something bad was about to happen. When it did finally come out of the cage, it was growling and screaming the way that they do...and I remember some of these guys were laughing...wanting it to run. Big time game hunters...how pathetic. (I also learned that they either filed or pulled the cat's fangs; I don't remember if they did anything to it's claws. Probably, but at least these guys got caught.) Unfortunately, the cat still got slaughtered. How difficult that must have been to be undercover and not be able to do anything about it. ...I took Fed for a walk in Pine Ridge State Forest. Apparently it's legal for someone to go rabbit hunting...with guns...while I'm in there at the same time. What sense does that make? No signs...nothing. I left after finding shotgun shells. There must be some big ass rabbits running around. ...to all you responsible hunters out there...be careful, don't piss anybody off, and thank you. Monday, January 02, 2006
OH LOOKY.. The Monty Python Character Test http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid Norwegian Blue.....You scored 37 Stubborn, 34 Crazy, 27 Agressive, and 18 Evil! The Norwegian Blue parrot is rather dead, but charming. High Light: A customer enters a pet shop... O: We're closin' for lunch. C: Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique. O: Oh yes, the, uh, the Norwegian Blue...What's,uh...What's wrong with it? C: I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. 'E's dead, that's what's wrong with it!O: No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting. C: Look, matey, I know a dead parrot when I see one, and I'm looking at one right now. O: No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage! C: The plumage don't enter into it. It's stone dead. O: Nononono, no, no! 'E's resting! C: All right then, if he's restin', I'll wake him up! (shouting at the cage)'Ello, Mister Polly Parrot! I've got a lovely fresh cuttle fish for you if you show...(owner hits the cage) O: There, he moved! C: No, he didn't, that was you hitting the cage! O: I never!! C: Yes, you did! O: I never, never did anything... C: (yelling and hitting the cage repeatedly) 'ELLO POLLY!!!!! Testing! Testing! Testing! Testing! This is your nine o'clock alarm call!(Takes parrot out of the cage and thumps its head on the counter. Throws it up in the air and watches it plummet to the floor.) C: Now that's what I call a dead parrot. O: No, no.....No, 'e's stunned! C: STUNNED?!? O: Yeah! You stunned him, just as he was wakin' up! Norwegian Blues stun easily, major. C: Um...now look...now look, mate, I've definitely 'ad enough of this. That parrot is definitely deceased, and when I purchased it not 'alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk. O: Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for the fjords. C: PININ' for the FJORDS?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?, look, why did he fall flat on his back the moment I got 'im home? O: The Norwegian Blue prefers keepin' on it's back! Remarkable bird, id'nit, squire? Lovely plumage! C: Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been NAILED there.(pause) O: Well, o'course it was nailed there! If I hadn't nailed that bird down, it would have nuzzled up to those bars, bent 'em apart with its beak, and VOOM! Feeweeweewee! C: "VOOM"?!? Mate, this bird wouldn't "voom" if you put four million volts through it! 'E's bleedin' demised! O: No no! 'E's pining! C: 'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-PARROT!! You scored higher than 0% on Stubborn You scored higher than 25% on Crazy You scored higher than 0% on Agressive You scored higher than 0% on Evil see what happens when you do something good... Dear Solider Angels, It is a great honor for me to write, and respond to true American Patroons. Though I would rather write and thank everyone on an individual basis, my job as a corpsmen doesn't alloy the time. My marines, and fellow corpsmen, and myself are really thankful for everthing you have done for us. The packages, cards, the words of encouragement are truly enjoyable, and morale building. For us to have great Americans in the states that support us, and the purpose we're here in Iraq gives us the spirit to continue the fight. Personally I've seen a big difference in certain areas. The streets are cleaner, personalities have changed, and their whole demeaner in certain areas. It's just the harsh reality we are still in a area of Biblical battles of land, and riches. The voting process was a success on the constitution, as well as the government. The election outcome is questionable,as if with all elections. However, it is very apparent to see that regardless of what the election brings, tribal leaders remain in control. Almost every letter or card we received, we hear about the soilders who have made the sacrifice to defend our great country. This makes us even more determined to fight for the legacy that proceeded us. Our job as soilders serving the United States is a great honor. Even though we had a lot of casualties throughout this war, we will endure to the end. Our president is our leading commander and chief, and we've taking a oath to uphold his every decision. But remember, the president is only human like everyone else, capable of mistakes. Prayer is needed not only for us, but the president as well. This war isn't easy, so you can only imagine his decision to keep us here is probably doubled. We have learned to look at everything on a brighter note. We lost a lot of soldiers in this war, but we still have our families safe back home. Interesting fact, To the best of my knowledge I only know of three angels names giving in the Bible, but here in Iraq we have many angel names. We are greatful to each and every one of you, and it's very hard to express how we feel in one letter. Our replacements have begin to come in, and we've giving them the web site address. Thanks again for your Prayers, effort, and time well spent. I can truly say we have been Blessed, and have angels that really care. LOL... Another good reason for not having a child...to see them go thru this...put in harm's way...but if I did, I'd stand behind them 200%. |
