...get over yourselves. You're life may be perfect, how nice for you, but with a little twist of fate, you could have ended up like the rest of us. Not so lucky; some of our parents don't like us. Hell, some hate us.

...so many friends you may have, but how many can you count on when the shit comes down and you aren't so lucky anymore? At least I know people love me for me.

...yeah, I'm bitching about it again, people being mean or rude to other people. I try to overlook it, pretend I don't see it, but sometimes I can't help it. I don't read the paper unless I see one lying around at work. Maybe I'm in denial, but the press lives off of sadness and evil. One day I couldn't believe all the bad news there was. Sometimes I just don't want to hear it anymore.

...I'm not trying to come across as being sinless...Lewis made that point to me one day, and I know I have a few issues. Okay, maybe more than a few. But this is one reason I love the movies...to go someplace else, to pretend. Because sometimes the real world is just too much.

...Lewis, I hope you'll still be my friend, but I still think we should go after soemone that is obviously doing wrong. The meth labs all over this town...everyone says they know about them. Get your bats and go get 'em. Some guy caught with a little girl and has obviously done something to her, another case in point. (last year two guys kidknapped a little girl on her way to the bus stop..took her behind a factory and some woods and repeatedly raped her. She got away when they both passed out. She took the cops back to where they still slept).

...I guess sometimes it gets to me. I don't understand how it can be allowed to go on. Our justice system can do good, but when it comes to this stuff, it sucks. How can a lawyer defend someone like that? A monster shouldn't be allowed rights if they know for a fact it did it...ONLY if they don't know. I know from experience that the victim is worse off than the criminal.

...sorry...just getting stuff out again...I think it's time for some more Monty Python.
