   Saw these guys last night...Nickel Creek...if you like acoustic and bluegrass they are fantastic....I happened to win two tickets off the local station (otherwise I couldn't go...$25 a piece)...it was on the river in Peoria...and it was a great evening...EXCEPT for the college age kids who thought they were at a frat kegger and couldn't keep quiet...sort of like when you go to the theater...yak yak yak...these guys were the ones behind you. But the band was great, it was a nice evening to hear such good music, and now I have to go and buy all their stuff. |
